UGM exists to offer Hope to the Hungry, the Hurting and the Homeless.

In 1940, the Mission began as a small soup kitchen. Since then we have grown dramatically to meet the needs surrounding us. Many people who have walked in the corridors of loneliness, hopelessness and despair have found UGM to be a place of new beginnings.

We continue to reach out to our communities with the love of God, showing Christian compassion, serving with integrity, and offering effective programs. Our desire is to be there for those in need with an outstretched hand, an open ear and a caring heart offering long-term solutions to their problems.
